Kim has been interested in art all her life.
She has always enjoyed drawing but did not began painting seriously
until a few years ago, thanks to regionally known Oona Lewis.
Kim has studied oils at Studio One since 2006 with Oona, Pegi
Sharpe and Dwight Mitchell. She finds that oil painting is the
perfect way to captivate beautiful scenery of her own travels
and adventures. The play of color and light in outdoor settings
really captivates Kim's imagination. Kim has a personal connection
with her paintings and hopes they will be considered timeless
- to be passed down for generations.
Kim sees her passion for art developing into
an exciting lifelong challenge. For the time being, she will
concentrate on oils. Acrylics and watercolors are "next"
on her list. Kim considers art a God-given gift and a perfect
source of relaxation and joy. She "loves" painting
down at Studio One and with their plein air outings.
