A sniff of the crayon box began her years of pleasure with color. She began with appliquéd clothing in the 1970s. In 1995, she took classes at Wilson Tech. During the past ten years, she has studied with Oona Lewis and Pegi Sharp. As an active associate artist with Studio One, she traveled to France in 2008 and painted in Monet's Gardens. In 2010, she studied in Italy for 12 days. She's a member of the Wilson Active Artists, and her work is available at Studio One, the Arts Council of Wilson and La-D-Da. Color continues to be an important part of her life - she just loves it!.
